VENDING FEES
$300.00 per corner

$200.00 per runner for each person covering the parade route
In order to vend items at the 220th Bristol Fourth of July Parade, ALL vendors must complete a vending application and submit it to the Bristol Fourth of July Vending Committee.

This permit allows you the privilege to vend items during the period of 5:00 a.m. and 12:00 midnight, Monday, July 4, 2005. In consideration of the residents of the Town of Bristol, we will not allow any vending before 5:00 a.m.. All vendors must be in place by 7:00 a.m..

In signing the application, the vendor agrees and understands that the request for license must be in compliance with the procedures and ordinances established by the Town of Bristol and the Fourth of July Committee.

Also please read the Terms of License. Failure to comply with the terms can result in the your removal from the parade site. Sign and return the Waiver of Liability form along with your application and appropriate fee.

VENDOR RULES

  • A fee of $300.00 per corner for each vendor assigned. After June 15, 2005, the fee per corner will be $350.00, payable in cash
  • A fee of $200.00 per runner for each person covering the parade route (in addition to corner assignments). In order to have a runner permit you must have a corner assignment. You will only be allowed 2 runners per corners purchased. (Runners are allowed to vend only prior to start of parade then must return to their assigned corner.)
  • Assignments will be the sole decision of the Bristol 4th of July Committee. Corner assignments will be at the discretion of the Vending Chairman or his staff.
  • Vendors may request specific corners and consideration will be given to comply with requests depending on the availability of the site and the date and time of the receipt of the request.
  • The Vending Committee will assist the vendors where possible and attempt to control competition on a specific corner..
  • All corners, land areas, etc., are considered part of the parade route and remain within jurisdiction of the Bristol 4th of July Committee. No agreement with any other individual, business owner or group shall be considered valid.
  • All fees must be paid in full prior to the day of the parade.
  • Runners are only permitted to sell from shopping carts..\
  • Items not allowed for sale include those containing Aerosol Spray Propellants (such as Silly String, Party Confetti), Stink Bombs, and Class III Fireworks (Poppers) as well as any other products prohibited by town ordinance.
  • No business or personal checks will be accepted only certified checks, money orders or cash.
  • Permits will be mailed to vendors no later than June 26, 2005.
  • Portable deep fryers are not permitted.
  • All vehicles must be parked no closer than 10 ft. from any corner.
  • All food vendors must have a valid state license to sell food. This license must be visibly displayed on July 4th.
  • No refunds in the event of adverse weather conditions or the inability to set up during the specified time periods. No vending allowed before 5:00 a.m. All vendors must be in place by 7:00 am. This permit is good for July 4th only.
  • 16. Vendors are responsible for restoring their assigned vending site to the condition in which it was found. Vendors are responsible for refuse removal. Trash left behind will result in a fine levied by the Town of Bristol.

    FOURTH OF JULY COMMITTEE
    The Bristol Fourth of July Committee has approximately 100 members to date, with 23 lifetime members.
