Fourth of July Celebration Photo Contest

BRISTOL' S FOURTH OF JULY PHOTO CONTEST
The Bristol Fourth of July Committee presents its Annual Photography Contest. Please read the entry details and contest rules below. Entry forms can be downloaded from the right column.

ENTRY DETAILS

The contest is open to any Bristol resident, except 4th of July Committee members and professional photographers

All entries must be unmounted 8"x10" prints with the completed Entry Form taped to the back. Please be sure to write the title & category of your print in both spaces provided on the entry form.

All entries must be postmarked no later than Tuesday, June 17, 2008 and mailed to:

Or dropped off before 4 PM Friday, June 20, 2008 at: Photo World or Rogers Free Library.

GENERAL RULES

Entries must be taken either conventionally or digitally & printed on photography paper

Photographs may be black and white, sepia or color. A limit of 3 entries per category may be submitted for judging.

All entries become the property of the 4th of July Committee and may be reproduced by the committee for the use of the 4th of July celebration such as souvenir book, etc.

All photographs must be taken in Bristol, but need not relate to the 4th of July

Photo judges are members of the PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS OF AMERICA

Ribbons will be awarded for first, second and third place winners in each category and one best of show from all entries. A total of 16 ribbons will be awarded.

First, second and third place as well as Best of Show photos will be displayed at the Rogers Free Library & Paper, Packaging & Panache on or before the afternoon of July 2 nd until the morning of July 31st.

All winners will be notified by telephone. Winners are invited to the Sept. 11th Fourth of July Committee meeting (7p.m. @ the old courthouse) for ribbon presentations.
