2010 FREEDOM FESTIVAL

Our 225th Celebration continues to be a "STAR SPANGLED EXPIERENCE" in August, with our First Freedom Festival.  The Festival is an event designed to bring our community together, and continue celebrating our Nation's Independence, enjoy the summer days at the water,  while providing our community based organizations and other businesses in our area an opportunity for the public to get acquainted with them.  There will be many different businesses and organizations, some selling goods/services, some just providing information to the public for you to get acquainted with them.

The Fourth of July Committee is sponsoring a Carnival, a Circus, several Concerts under the Circus Tent,  and other events/activities to round out your time at the Bristol Town Beach.

Our Festival begins on August 6th at 6:00 PM, and we invite everyone to check out the Event Calendar, and join us during any of our events and enjoy the summer at our Town Beach Area.

Changes in Latitudes:
America's Premier Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show!
Changes in Latitudes is the tropical concert event of the season.  With beachballs flying and conga lines, leis, Hawaiian shirts and grass skirts, this the show you simply must see.

In case you haven't seen them yet, Changes In Latitudes is one of America's premier tribute shows to singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett, the master of the tropical lifestyle.  They are a nine-piece band with a singular plan, to take you to Margaritaville.  Each show is good clean fun, aiming to offend no one, and entertain everyone.  Every set is a party, with beach balls flying, dancing conga lines, and leis galore.  It's one exciting show.  Oh yes, and the music.  You know more Jimmy Buffett songs than you think you do, and they'll prove it.  Let "Changes In Latitudes" bring their rolling beach party to you.

For the true Parrot Heads out there, know that this is an authentic "tribute" show.  They've captured the look, feel, and sound of a real Buffett concert.  "Changes In Latitudes" is to Buffett what "Beatlemania" is to the Beatles. The only thing they don't provide is the tailgate party before the show. (Of course, you can always have your own).

So, if you're ready for a "Latitude Adjustment", break out your grass skirts and Hawaiian shirts, kick off your shoes, and join the beach party.

Visit the band at: http://www.changesinlatitudes.com/.
