The following events directly support the Bristol Fourth of July Celebration. They are some of the many events that are coordinated by members of the Fourth of July Committee. Help us raise the funds to continue our Celebration, the longest Fourth of July Celebration in the United States.

Join us for an evening of "An Evening of Doo-Wop", listen and dance to New England’s Premiere Oldies Doo Wop Groups – Reminisce . This year's Cultural Night will be held at Jacky’s Galaxie, 380 Metacom Avenue. There will be snacks available, raffles and doorprizes. Parking in the rear of the building. Please use South Side Lower Level Entrance (under awning).

Tickets will be available starting March 18th. RSVP for tables of 10! Limited seating so call early!!

Admission is $8.00 per person

Join us for our annual Card Party in the Auditorium of St. Mary’s Church on Wood Street in Bristol It's an evening of fun as you play cards or your favorite board game with family and friends. Refreshments will be served. There are three different raffle events with hundreds of prizes. When you first arrive purchase candy bars that have three raffle tickets attached. Since there are never enough candy bars you can purchase just tickets for the second raffle and finally your admission ticket includes you in the door prize raffle.

Call the event chairman for tickets or purchas them at the at the door. Be sure to bring playing cards and or your favorite board game.

The Bristol Fourth of July Committee presents its Annual Vintage Base Ball Game. Game one will be played by 1864 rules and Game 2 by 1871 rules. The games will be between the Bristol Blues and the Providence Grays.

The game will be played at the Bristol Town Common, with the game starting at 12:30 p.m.. There are small grand stands available, bring lawn chairs if desired. There is also a wheel chair accessible bathroom. Complimentary hot dog and soda/water!

+ Foot Races - June 24, 2015

Registration - 5:15 p.m.

The 28th annual Fourth of July Foot Races will be held on Wednesday, June 24th. The rain date is June 25th. The races are open to all Bristol residents. Registration will begin at 5:15 PM in front of the Courthouse.

The 1-Mile race is for boys and girls from 3 to 12 years old. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in the 3-6 years old, and the 7-9 years old age groups. The top boy and girl finishers in the 10-12 years old age group will be awarded trophies.

The 2-Mile race has no age restriction. Trophies will be given to the top two male and female finishers.

All participants will be offered tickets to the carnival. Refreshments will be provided

The Car Show will be held at Bristol Town Beach and is open to the public beginning at 11:00 a.m. Entrance Fee: $10.00. Rain date is August 23rd.

Wine Tasting

The Wine Tasting Event will be held at Linden Place on Hope Street. Donation: $25.00. Various wines for tasting sponsored by 1776 Liquors, food samples are sponsored by Atria Senior Living and the tasting glasses are sponsored by St. Angelo Hardwoods, Inc. The host for the evening is Tim White, Investigative Reporter for WPRI/WNAC-TV.

Lost in the 50s Dance

This years 50's Dance will be held at Franklin Court. Dance to your favorite 50's music. Evening events include a hoola-hoop contest, trivia and best 50's outfit. Bring your camera!. Music provided by Doug Botelho. There will be light food, BYOB.

On Wednesday night, December 4th, we will be sponsoring our annual fundraiser, the Macaroni Supper. The event will be held at the recently remodeled St. Mary’s Parish Center. We will have ample parking. The meal includes Macaroni & meatballs, soup, salad, garlic bread, pastry and refreshments. Join us for a great meal!
