Bristol Fourth of July Parade Directions
The directions below are suggestions to make entering Bristol easier for everyone.
By Bicycle or by Foot
The East Bay Bike Path has become the popular travel route. Take the Path to the Colt State Park, Poppasquash Road or Independence Park and walk the Parade Route. By Boat Getting to Bristol is the easy part, leaving your boat and getting to shore will be more difficult. Making arrangements prior to your arrival is a good idea. Public docks are at Colt State Park, State Street, and Church Street, but expect them to be crowded. By Car Expect heavy traffic on Route 114 from Barrington to Bristol. Route 136 (Metacom Avenue) may be a better choice, with less traffic. Driving through Portsmouth over the Mt. Hope Bridge may be the best choice of all. Need directions from your home to Bristol!
