"Band of the Year" - 2013 New England Music Awards - "Album of the Year" - Ragtop Angel - 2012 New England Music Awards
"Hands down, the best roots rock band to come out of Boston since the Del Fuegos." - The Alternate Root
“…this is our band. we are from Boston. we are lovely, happy people...”
The Adam Ezra Group (AEG) is not just a band; they are a force to be reckoned with musically, personally and socially. Selling records and tickets is important to AEG, but they are committed to changing the world with their songs and their actions along the way. Ezra and his band are activists and community leaders as much as they are musicians and songwriters. Ezra has spent time living out of a van, farming in Canada, volunteering for the relief effort in Kosovo, and practicing environmental geography in South Africa. Whether as a kitchen hand or carpenter, teacher, athlete, or traveler, Ezra crams it all into the music, always challenging our perspective and often teetering somewhere between gutsy rocker and sensitive poet.
The group’s live performances are sweaty, passionate affairs that have been compared to those of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, and have attracted the attention of Royal Avenue Records. In 2010, Ezra immediately signed with Royal Avenue and began working on the album that eventually became Ragtop Angel. Royal Avenue paired the group with multiplatinum producer Aaron Johnson and released "Ragtop Angel," the group's debut recording. "Ragtop Angel" shot to the top of the Amazon charts peaking at #4 behind John Mayer and Sarah Bareilles and was featured on iTunes "New and Noteworthy Rock Albums" in December of 2011. Soon after, “Ragtop Angel” won "Album of the Year" and "Takin' Off" won "Song of the Year" at the New England Music Awards.
Having toured with Rusted Root, The Avett Brothers, Jason Mraz, Corey Smith, Deer Tick, The Goo Goo Dolls, Blues Traveler, Los Lobos, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Dwight Yoakam, Gin Blossoms, and many more, the Adam Ezra Group has graduated from the local Boston scene to the national level with a momentum that has catapulted them towards being one of the country’s most talked about bands. www.adamezra.com

Whether she’s playing her original songs with Brian as an acoustic duo, fronting The Becky Chace Band, she is present in the moment enjoying the connection of community that only music can create.
Becky performs at least 200 shows per year. She’s tough to pin down in terms of style; she’s that kind of musician who can’t help but go in different directions. A throwback to the artists of the 1960s and 70s who had intimate acoustic country ballads on the same records with blues rock and pop. Becky’s performance experience runs the gamut as well. With her band she’s opened concert and festival shows for such acts as B.B. King, America, Keb Mo, Melissa Etheridge and Joan Jett at the Newport Sunset Music Festival and Twin River Casino. She’s shared more intimate stages such as the Narrows Center for the Arts and Stone Soup as an acoustic act with the likes of Judi Collins and Cheryl Wheeler.
Receiving critical acclaim for her recordings, Becky’s proven to be a very prolific songwriter releasing 9 CDs. The Boston Globe called Chace’s Take Your Shot “a stunning collection of original roots rock, folk, and blues."
What people talk about most when it comes to Becky’s music is her powerful voice. She’s been compared to Melissa Etheridge, Lucinda Williams, and Bonnie Raiit. Chosen Best Female Vocalist 5 times by the readers of the Providence Phoenix Best Music Poll, Becky has been called "one of the most celebrated singer/songwriters to come out of the RI area." Motif Magazine.
